Fluid Swivel
Fluid swivel is the core component in the single point mooring system. The working environment is variable and complex. Under considerable load conditions, the fluid swivel is used to transfer fluid cargo via single or multi channels, such as crude oil, product oil and fresh water etc., generally with high pressure, high temperature or corrosion. Safety and reliability are extremely important for this equipment.
On April 2012, Shanghai SPM developed the stacked oil/water swivel. Later the full size prototype was successfully manufactured and certified by CCS. Continuously, Shanghai SPM developed series standard products with various pipe dimension, flux and pressure.
