CALM

Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) is widely used as the offshore loading/offloading terminal. High adaptability to wide range of water depth and various oil tankers makes CALM an excellent solution in practice.

Shuttle tanker is moored to the turntable located in floating buoy via elastic hawser. Turntable is mounted on floating buoy using bearing. Floating buoy is fixed to seabed with suction anchors or piles. Shuttle tanker can drive turntable to weathervane freely around floating buoy under the action of environmental loading.

The swivel is located in the turntable. Through the floating hose, subsea hose and underwater pipeline, oil transfer can be executed between the tanker and land terminal.
